La-La Land Crafts New Release!!!

Exciting news!!! Today is the day that FIVE new Marci stamps (plus Marci's Panda) are being released at La-La Land Crafts! Yep, that's right... you can now purchase Birthday Marci, Ballerina Marci, Sweet Dreams Marci, Marci with Rose and Cheerleader Marci as rubber stamps!  If you buy all five, you get Marci's Panda free!!! All the deets and a look at all of the images are available on the La-La Land Crafts blog.

My card features Sweet Dreams Marci. If you were as cute as her, you'd have sweet dreams, too! lol

I can't tell you how much fun I have coloring these sweet images. Each one is just as cute as the last. If I were you, I'd buy all five! (*wink*)

The DP is by Melissa Frances, and that beautiful flower was made by my dear friend (and La-La Land Crafts design teammate) Kim Yu.

I can't wait to see your Marci creations! Don't forget, we now have a Customer Gallery for you to browse and share!

Have a la la lovely day!

Simply Betty Stamps New Release Blog Hop!

Woot woot! Today is the day!!! The SIX new Halloween My Kids Emo World (aka Halloweenie Emos) are now available at Simply Betty Stamps! You can purchase them in digi format for immediate download AND/OR pre-order the rubber versions, which will be shipped on or about October 1st.

And of course there is a sale!!! You can get all the deets and the discount codes on the Simply Betty Stamps blog, where the blog hop fun begins! Be sure to start there and follow along for a chance to win some prizes!

My card today features Halloween Betty. Most of you probably know that we call Betty (the owner of Simply Betty Stamps) "Betty Boo," a nickname given to her by Lori Boyd. I couldn't help but play on that theme with the greeting for this card... Betty BOO!!!

The DP is from Martha Stewart Crafts, the black lace is from Stampin Up, the greeting is by SRM and the cat is by Recollections (Michael's brand).

Your next stop on the hop is Meredith's blog. Enjoy!!!

The Devil Made Me Do It

Welcome to Day 2 of previews of the SIX new Halloween My Kids Emo World stamps being released tomorrow at Simply Betty Stamps! We will, of course, be celebrating the release with a blog hop tomorrow that you won't want to miss! And more good news... the Halloween My Kids Emo World stamps (aka Emo Halloweenies) will be released in both digi and rubber! Yep, the digi versions will be available for immediate download on Wednesday, and preorders for the rubber will also be available. The rubber is expected to ship on or about October 1st.

My card today features Devil Rio. This might be my favorite of the Halloween images, although it's hard to pick. She just looks so vixen-ish!

The DP is retired Stampin Up (sorry, the devil made me do it!) and the black swirls are by Prima. I created the greeting myself on the computer.

Be sure to click on over to the Simply Betty Stamps blog for a look at more Emo Halloweenies, and then be sure to join us tomorrow for the new release blog hop festivities!

October 31st

So, which of the three new stamps from Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps did you buy? All three I hope! How can you pick just one? I'm really loving all three of the new images... so much fun to color, and perfect for getting me in the mood for autumn and, of course, Halloween.

Hopefully, you'll be lucky enough to get your new stamps in time for this week's challenge at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps.

ORANGE, GREEN AND CREAM

Even if you don't get your new stamps in time, I hope you'll still jump in and play with us. This is a great color challenge for this time of year. Hint: the new Matilda collection by Cosmo Cricket has lots of orange, green and cream. That's what I used for my card featuring Broomstick Lucy. (*grin*)

Be sure to stop by the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps blog to see what the rest of Sparkle's girls have created for this color challenge. I promise that you will LOVE the eye candy and inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by my friends! Have a wonderful day!

Waltzingmouse Stamps September Release Blog Hop!

Hello dear friends of Waltzingmouse Stamps! The day is finally here... the release of FIVE new stamp sets: Nutcracker Sweet, Music Backgrounds, Half Pint Heros, Bountiful Baskets Additions and Teeny Trees. The response to the previews of these wonderful new sets would seem to indicate that you'd better run not walk to the Waltzingmouse Stamps store to fill your baskets quickly! LOL

We are, of course, celebrating with a Blog Waltz. The fun starts at the Waltzingmouse Stamps blog, so you'll want to head over there to see the full reveal of the stamp sets and follow along from there for a final look at the Design Team creations featuring the new stamps. Be sure to comment along the way for a chance to win a stamp set of choice! The competition ends at 11:59 pm EASTERN (GMT -5) on Tuesday, September 14th, so hurry!

My card features an image and greeting from the Nutcracker Sweet and Music Backgrounds stamp sets. I haven't even scratched the surface of all the fun you can have with these incredible sets! I decided to go all "shabby chic-y" and emboss the Christmas tree in white then sponge heavily with Tim Holtz's Bundled Sage distress ink, which I also sponged on the edge of the two mats. I used Walnut Stain distress ink on the edges of the image panel and the white cardstock base. I stamped one of the Music Backgrounds stamps in white on the top part of the "swan" paper. The DP is Websters Pages and the flower is by Melissa Frances.

Your next stop on the Waltz is Anya's blog. Enjoy!

Waltzingmouse Stamps September New Release Preview Day 3

Hi all! I'm afraid I'm running late with my preview card today. Please check back later. In the meantime, you'll find stunning eye candy at the Waltzingmouse Stamps blog and on the blogs of the Design Team: Julia, Mona, Carly, Jennifer, Bonnie, Lynn, Anya, Belinda and Laurie

Enjoy!

Edited to add: Well, the day ran away from me and I never finished my card. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and I'm well on my way. But I know you saw lots of awesome eye candy on Claire's blog and the Design Team blogs...and over at the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge blog. I will definitely be back tomorrow for the new release Blog Waltz, so please join me for that!

School Time Bunny!

Hey everyone! Meljen's Designs has just released some of the CUTEST school images. Today I'm showcasing School Time Bunny. I love the homespun look of Melissa's artwork. Plus, the challenge this week over at Meljen's Designs Challenges and Inspiration Blog is BACK 2 SCHOOL. Come on, let's play!

You know me and how much I love a good sketch to get my mojo going. I found this one at Friday Sketchers and turned it on its side to fit the image. The DP and die cuts are from the new School Spirit collection by Crate Paper. I actually made the ribbon myself using seam binding and coffee and Tim Holtz's Rusty Hinge re-inker.

On the personal front, I said good-bye to my dear friend Debbie last Thursday night when we dropped her at the LAX Marriott...her flight to Washington DC to join her husband left early Friday morning, so she stayed in LA Thursday night. We had a FABULOUS time while she was here... lots of shopping, eating good food, meeting up with others and crafting... and never a shortage of things to talk about. I'm going to miss her. Hopefully one day I'll make it to Australia to visit her.

Now I'm trying to catch up and get my life back to "normal" (whatever that is). I was having sympathy jet lag while Debbie was here, and still feel a bit fuzzy (haha).

Thanks for stopping by my friends! I'll "see" you soon!
