Friends of Waltzingmouse Stamps July Blog Waltz!

Oh, yessss... it's that time again!!! Our monthly Friends of Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz!!! You'll find all the links in the Waltzingmouse House forum. Our theme this month is The Colors of Summer: Blue and Green. I hope you'll join us for a leisurely waltz through gorgeous cards and blogs... and play our "count the special watermarks game" for a chance to win a stamp set of choice! Note that I'm a member of the Design Team, so you'll want to check the photo of my card carefully to see how many, if any, special watermarks there are!

Since today also happens to be the start of a new sketch challenge at the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge blog, I decided to play with the sketch for my card.Isn't it a fun sketch? Lots of possibilities with this one! Be sure to stop by the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge blog to see how some of our design team ladies interpreted the sketch. Lovely! And while you're there, why not print out the sketch and give it a go this week? We'd love to see what YOU come up with!

My card features the main image and a greeting from  Blessed By You. a very simple image, but lovely... especially the font of all the wonderful greetings in this stamp set.  The DP is by Websters Pages, which I love love love. I stamped the tree and greeting (and sponged the paper edges) with Tim Holtz Walnut Distress Ink.

Now on you go to continue your Waltz! Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a magical weekend!

Note, this is my second post for today. Please scroll down for my Sketch Saturday post... another fabulous sketch challenge!

Beautiful job Lisa. Love those large brads...they really accent your semi-circle well. Hugs!

Very good card, Lisa....I see you are possibly also a flower arranger? Instead of the 4 small circles you have reduced to three - the perfect odd number for a creation. Love your stamping!

Very beautiful, soft yet with the punch of color in the brads. This is my first time participating in the WMS hop, and it has been quite enjoyable. You all have such nice cards!

This card is just lovely, Lisa! I really like how you offset the circle on the design paper so that it looks like half of the circle is stamped.

Great job, Lisa. I struggle a bit with distressing with Walnut Ink as it is so dark, but you have used it wonderfully. Lovin' the Websters DP, too.

Oh I love those buttons! I had the best intentions of waltzing along this month, I've been dying to do so, but house showings and cleaning got in the way . . . the nerve! One fabulous card.
