All Dressed Up in Her Easter Best

Doesn't Miss Rosie look darling in her new Easter dress and bonnet? I sure wish wearing hats were still in vogue. I'm sure they are in some places, but not in So Cal...except, of course, for guys who wear golf or baseball caps, and those of us who don a straw hat when going to the beach. I've always been a great admirer of hats; ladies who can pull them off look totally glam. But I digress... (*grin*)

We have a new challenge starting today at the La-La Land Crafts blog. Our hostess is our very own Hawaiian girl, Maureen Wong, and she challenges us to use PASTEL colors in our cards. Perfect timing for me to use this beautiful new DP from the Kioshi collection by Basic Grey. I used a sheet from the 6 x 6 paper pad for the background, but used ribbon, flowers and cardstock from the Easter Key Ingredients kit (which also contains Kioshi papers). Yummy! I gotta get some more of that silky ribbon.

The La-La Weekly Wednesday Challenge will be a bit different starting today. You must use a La-La Land Crafts stamp or digi image to play, but... wait...what did I just say? Digi? Yes, digi! Easter Dress Rosie, which I used on my card, and friends are now offered as digis! So it's easier than ever to buy La-La Land Crafts images AND play in our challenges!

What's more, the digi image being used by our challenge hostess Maureen, Easter Bunny Rosie, is 20% off this week (until the current challenge ends)... so only $3.40 (digis regularly run $5 each or you can get the entire Easter bundle for just $20). Also, the challenge winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to spend on rubber stamps only in the La-La Land Crafts store. Everybody wins!

So come on and play! Before you do, be sure to check out the loveliness created by our amazing Design Team and Guest Designers on the La-La Land Crafts blog. Spring has sprung!

Super cute Lisa!! Your little bouquet works nicely with the flowers in the DP *Ü* This reminds me of Easters growing up--my mom would sew Kathy and I new dresses every year and sometimes we even wore li'l hats. Anyway, great job!
Hugs!!
