I'm with you...

A blessed Sunday to you! This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Our challenge hostess this week at Stampin' Sisters in Christ is Rebekka Reed, whose testimony is one of the strongest and most inspirational I have ever heard. God truly blessed us when he brought Becky to us! I hope you'll click over to the Stampin' Sisters in Christ blog to read Becky's devotional. You will be blessed!

Becky chose the well-loved scripture Isaiah 40:31 "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up on wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary they shall walk and not faint." The challenge is to create a card featuring birds of any kind.

Our sponsor this week is Digi Doodle Shop, which very generously offered the design team some gorgeous images of birds to play with. I chose Hummingbird because my dear mother loved them so much. The good thing about hummingbirds is that they are not only a delight to watch, but they come in just about every color combination imaginable, so you can't go wrong when you color them up! Unfortunately, I discovered that I'm not very good at coloring birds, so please squint a little when you look at my card. (*wink*)

I played with Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge #26. The DP is from the Capella collection by Basic Grey. The chipboard flower is by Melody Ross, and the vintage buttons are from Websters Pages.

I sure do know difficulty in my own life... these past couple of years have been particularly trying...and I sometimes falter and worry or feel depressed or get angry. But then I put my heart and mind back on the promises made by our Heavenly Father... I remind myself that He is always with me, and I am comforted. I am sustained. My strength is renewed! It's true dear friends. It's really true that there is a peace that passes all understanding when you put your faith and trust in our Lord!

Have a wonderful day! And please come play with us at Stampin' Sisters in Christ! We love your fellowship and sharing!
