Material Girl

Happy Tuesday! Wow, I love Tiddly Tuesdays!!! Our challenge this week at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog is to use FABRIC in our cards/projects. I love that! I'm a big fabric girl anyway because my other crafting passion is quilting. Fabric today comes in so many amazing colors, patterns and textures, just like designer paper. It's like visual nirvana!

This ADORABLE image is called Whatcha Doin. OMGosh, can you say CUTE!!!! Naturally, I thought of the Material Girl DP by Cosmo Cricket when I heard about the challenge, so that's what you see as my background paper. However, the fabric strips are from Anna Griffin, as is the fabric I used to make my flower. I got the technique from Betsy Veldman's tutorial. I love making flowers!

Did you know that the Tiddly Inks store is now open for business?  Yeah, Baby!!! You NEED to get over there and start shopping! Check this out:

Tiddly Inks has a brand new download shop that offers digital stamps, with digital papers and other colored art coming in the near future. We have about 80 digital stamps up now and we are having a grand opening sale.

50% off orders over $25 at ONLY on May 5 from 12 PM to 10 PM US Central time. Discount is automatically applied at checkout on purchases $25 and over.

If you miss the sale, there is an everyday discount of 20% on orders over $20. Christy plans to add new images each Tuesday. Downloads are immediate when you follow the links back to the shop after paying with PayPal.

Do I hear a WOOT WOOT!!!! Don't miss the chance at this spectacular sale!!!

And here's something else you don't want to miss:

To celebrate the unbelievable amount of new members AND the shop grand opening, we are having a Buggy Blog Hop on the challenge blog. If you want to be a stop on the hop, please leave a comment on at this link on the Tiddly Inks blog stating that or email Christy directly at by 8 PM US CENTRAL on May 6 to add your name to the list of blogs we will visit during the hop.

1) Make a card using one of the Bugg girls from the Tiddly Inks shop with any theme, color and design/sketch.
2) Post your card by 6 AM US CENTRAL on May 8 and plan to hop around and leave comments for each blogger on the list. The beginning post will be Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. Prizes will be awarded to three lucky people. Betty Boo is contributing a yummy scrap pack and I am giving away two gift certificates ($10 and $15).
3) The hop ends May 9 at 12 PM US CENTRAL. Winners will be announced May 10th on the challenge blog. Check back to see if you were one of the three winners.

Whew!!! That's a lot of information, but not to be missed! Such a chance doesn't come along very often. So whatcha waitin' for?  Please join us on the HOP and for this week's challenge. I can't wait to see what you create with Christy's ADORABLE images!

Be sure to check out what the incredibly talented Tiddly Inkers and Guest Tiddly Inkers have created using FABRIC this week:

Tammy: Life...Enjoy It!

And of course the artist herself: Christy Croll!

P.S. The sketch I followed is Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 67.  I hope you have a Tiddly Tuesday!
