Let Your Dreams Take Flight!

Woot woot, as my dear friend and crafting buddy Betty would say!

Yep, it's time for a sketch challenge at The Pink Elephant AND a sneak peek of soon-to-be-debuted rubber stamps by Simply Betty Stamps!!! Woot woot!!! I am so happy for Betty!!! She is not only uber talented, but simply the most wonderful friend. What a blessing it is that we found each other. We were both lacking a crafting buddy (mine moved to AZ), and we just clicked the first time we met. I'm all about living your dreams... Letting Your Dreams Take Flight. You go Betty, and I'll be right behind you!

My card features Rio, drawn for Betty's beautiful and amazing daughter, who is also very dear to me... she and her friend London are my sweet "daughters." I made this card while we were "scrapping" at our local scrap store Friday night. The DP is retired by Stampin' Up... I can't recall the name. It's hard to see in the picture, but the background paper is actually embossed with cherries. I touched up the colored areas with my atYou Spica pens, but unfortunately it turned the green a bit too green, if you know what I mean. The greeting is by Papertrey Ink.

Stay tuned for more of these fantastic images. Simply Betty Stamps will launch June 1st! In the meantime, you can see more samples at The Pink Elephant, so hurry on over!

Have a simply pink day!

O-M-Gothy-Goodness, Lisa! This card is AMAZING!!!!! Your coloring is just beautiful on this! WOW! And I love the green & red. The cherry paper is sweet, but this card is definitely on the tart & tangy side. Perfectly delish!
