Taylored Expressions 10th Birthday Mega Party Designer Reunion Blog Hop

Wow! Look who's celebrating TEN fabulous years in business! Yep, it's Taylored Expressions! And we're having a designer reunion blog hop to mark this awesome occasion! I was lucky enough to be a member of the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge design team for a while, way back in the day. We said goodbye to the TE Sketch Challenge in May 2012. Time sure does fly! But I still pull out those sketches when I need inspiration for a card... they are some of the best!

TE became one of my favorite stores from the very start when it was all about Cuppie! I had many of those cute sets! And I still have a box full of TE ribbon, and Tiny Twinkles, and all sorts of other delights that I still enjoy after all these years. Taylor has an eye for cute! And now I'm in love with their liquid watercolors!

This month's mini release is all about birthday celebrations, and you will LOVE it! The new products were released last night and you can find them by clicking HERE.

Speaking of which, there are more than 40 designers participating in this celebration, all superstars in the industry!!! You'll find the complete list of participants and all of the links on the Taylored Expressions Blog. You'll want to start there and go all the way through to see all of the many delights.

My card features the cute stamps and dies set called Dreamer, featuring a darling little unicorn and pegasus.

I'm absolutely in love with making shakers, so I took the opportunity to play with some of Taylored Expression's Hello Happiness sequins, and enhanced them by die cutting some Little Bits Birthday Confetti. I love that TE offers several different options in these confetti dies. So cute, and so much fun to use for shakers!

I also used the Taylored Expressions Bubbly Stencil to create a whimsical background for these cuties. I pounced on first some Cupcake ink and then some Cookie Monster ink. The greeting was stamped with Sprinkles ink. That's Strawberry Milkshake cardstock you see there. I just LOVE TE's coordinating color selection!  The critters were colored with Copics BG000, 02, 05, R81, 85, V000, 01. Super simple.

I was having so much fun, I decided to make a second shaker card!

This time I used Taylored Expression's Rainbow Brights sequins enhanced with Little Bits Celebration Confetti die cuts. The cover die is the Curly Q cutting plate, and the shaker back features TE's silver foil cardstock which reflects the light and looks even more festive! Note the Tiny Twinkle and the ribbon... throwbacks to the old TE days! Those yummy cardstock colors are Jelly Donut
and Key Lime. Copic colors used are BV02, 04, 08, C00, 1, E51, R20, YG01, 03, R22, YG00, YR02 and Y32.

Happy Birthday Taylored Expressions!
May You Enjoy Many Many More to Come!
