Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #34

Good day to you! It's Saturday and I'm channeling Sarah Martina Parker and Mona Pendleton for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge! lol Not very well, of course, but it's a start!

Yes, it's time for another fabby sketch at Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge and have I got news for you! From now on, the weekly prize will be a stamp set of choice from Waltzingmouse Stamps! Yes, you heard me right... a stamp set of choice! If you haven't joined us before, what are you waiting for! lol

My card features the ever popular Very Vintage Labels No. 10, one of many Spellbinders compatible stamp sets offered by Waltzingmouse Stamps. The little tag features a sentiment from Asian Gardens Additions.

Sadly, I am in need of a sympathy card... my uncle recently passed due to complications from diabetes. For those of you who might remember, this was the uncle to whom my sister donated a kidney about ten years ago. Thanks to her, he had another decade to live and love. He soon after married his dialysis nurse. I know she's devastated by his passing. I'm sad for her and for my dad, who has lost his youngest brother.

Anyway, back to happier things... the patterned paper and ribbon blooms are from Websters pages. I layered some wrinkled ribbon from Prairie Bird Boutique and a beautiful butterfly from my friend Kristine (thanks Kris!) over the blooms. I gave the edges of the patterned paper a swipe or two with a Ranger Adirondack Snow White Paint Dabber and then did a bit of stitching at the top and bottom of my card.

I hope you'll come along and play with us this week. Be sure to pop by the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge blog to see the truly wonderful inspiration from our Mischief Makers and a few of the WMS design team. I promise you will be delighted!

Have a fabby day!
