Who R U?

CHAPTER 5: WHOOOOOOOO RRRRRRRRRRR YOUUUUUUUU?

"Who are YOU?" said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, "I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then."

This week we are celebrating SPRING in Wonderland! And, we have some WONDERFUL winged-things to show off courtesy of this week's sponsor, our very own Design Team member Jen Shults! Jen's stamp company, Wild Flower Kids, has grown to be a favorite of ours and we are SO honored that she's agreed to sponsor the Oh, Alice! Challenge Blog. Jen was gracious enough to provide the Design Team with some of the wonderfully cute and whimsical images from her new digi stamp line "All-A-Flutter."

Be sure to check out the SUPER CUTE cards made by the Design Team using these sweet images! Just click on over to the Oh, Alice! Challenge Blog to see them.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to create a card using a CATERPILLAR or BUTTERFLY on your card/project this week! You have until 8:00 pm Central on Friday, March 26th to submit your entries. The winner will be announced on Saturday March 26th, and will receive the "All-a-Flutter" digital images pictured above from Jen!

Be sure to upload your card and link to Mr. Linky on the Oh, Alice! Challenge Blog. This week's keyword for public galleries is OAC5. HAPPY SPRING, everyone!

A note about my card: First, I gotta say again that the caterpillar smoking his words in the original Disney Alice in Wonderland movie is my favorite. "Who R U?" So funny.

My card loosely follows Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #65. The DP and cardstock are from the Taylored Expressions Spa Key Ingredients Kit. I also used a funky new punch from Martha Stewart Crafts, which cuts the flower into the cardstock and is supposed to emboss the center. The embossing doesn't work very well, so I covered the centers with circles cut from the DP. It looks better IRL since you can see the blue cardstock underneath the flower petals, and it gives some dimension to the card.

I'm sure glad you stopped by for a visit today. I hope you'll join us down the rabbit hole at Oh, Alice! Have a great day!
