So Sweet of You

Happy Wednesday! It's time for more fun with La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge!

The sweet Elena Joldersma is our hostess this week, and she challenges us to make a "fancy fold" card. There are lots of different kinds out there... you need only pop over to the La-La Land Crafts Blog to see several used by our Design Team. Elena has also included links to instructions for various fancy fold tutorials, which is very handy.

I chose the Free Standing Pop Up Card. I'd never done this one before... it's really easy and fun! My card features sweet Cupcake Rosie, which goes perfectly with the Taylored Expressions January Key Ingredients Kit papers and embellishments.

Speaking of Cupcake Rosie, she and all the other wonderfully whimsical stamps from La La Land Crafts, including 8 new releases, are on sale!!! Yep, it's buy three, get one free! If you've wanted to jump start your collection of La-La Land Crafts stamps, now is the time!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. It's pouring rain here in So Cal this week...good for the drought conditions, bad for those who live in the burn areas. But I LOVE the rain. It's so rare that it's a treat. For all of you who are coming out for CHA, I understand it's supposed to clear up starting this weekend. Besides, we'll all be inside, so who cares! We'll be having fun fun fun!

Take care, and have a ROSIE day!

  1. What a cute card. I have to try making one of these. I've heard about your record rains. That's a blessing in disguise, I guess. I know you could always use more water over there.
