Girly, You Rock!

TGIF!!! That's especially true for me because when this work day is over, I'll begin a two week break... 16 glorious days, to be exact. You have no idea how much I need this.

It's also a wonderful Friday because it's time for Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #95! I've said it before, and I'll say it again... I love a good sketch and Taylor's are amongst the BEST!

Today's card is dedicated to Jodi Collins aka Kharmagirl. Jodi is the quintessential Twi-hard. Her love of all things Edward and Twilight is infectious. I love the "Twilight" cards she makes, and all the quotes she includes with each post. She's even started a Twi-day challenge, which starts today. No way could I not play! That girl is my hero!

So, this one's for you Jodi girl! You ROCK!!!

My card features Alice... I mean Ebony... a digi image available for a limited time at The Greeting Farm (along with the rest of the family). I whipped out my Petals & Paisley Key Ingredients Kit, which made this card super quick and easy to complete... and I LOVE it! The greeting is from Signature Greetings by Raspberry Suite (Dawn McVey) for Papertrey Ink.

I realized after I colored the image that Alice's hair should be black. So I'm looking at it this way... the girl is trying a new lighter shade just for the heck of it. What girl doesn't want to try new hair styles on occasion? LOL! Bear with me, Jodi...I'll get it right eventually. At least I made her skin pale!

Okay, peeps, I must be off and running for the day, but I'll be back this weekend, a more relaxed and happy Lisa... with time to finally get around and visit blogs and answer emails. Okay, maybe give me a few days to get organized, but I'll be there! In the meantime, please visit Jodi's blog to see her awesome Twi-day card featuring "Carlisle Cullen," and the rest of the Sketch Crew's blogs to see what wonderful things they've created for you based on today's sketch:

Monika Davis: M.A.D. Stamper
Sherrie Siemens: Card Creme
Melissa Sauls: In Stamping Mode
Alice Lihsuan-Wertz: Alice's Little Wonderland
and of course Taylor herself: Taylored Expressions
(We're missing three of our girls this week.)

Have a lovely Twi-day!

  14. WOW, 16 glorious days off! Now what can you fill that time with... hummm! Stamping/paper crafting wouldn't be one idea, would it? :) Enjoy your time off and the holidays too girl! Everything about your card works and PERFECT details!!

I just finished my first cup of Chai tea tonight... we are in for a nasty winter snowstorm in the upper mid-west. So Mark and I will be alone for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day... we will leave for my folks on Saturday to celebrate, which is in Southern, MN. Expected to have 16" here and more to the south... maybe 20(+)"!! Then the nasty winds come in on Christmas day. I'll be cuttled up by the computer catching up with my SWEET FRIENDS! :)
