So I'm wondering... is anyone else feeling a bit guilty about giving short shrift to the pilgrims and/or the autumn season? I have to admit that I am... a tiny bit anyway. But that isn't stopping me from reaching for all the great Christmas stamps in my stash, including the one featured in today's card from the Very Vintage Christmas stamp set. I'm LOVING the stamp sets from Waltzingmouse Stamps! Claire just keeps releasing one fantastic set after another. They are especially nice if you like stamping images that don't require any coloring. She carries those, too, of course, but for folks who like to stamp in color, you will LOVE the selection!
My card follows Sweet Sketch Wednesday #22. I just found this challenge blog through the ultra-talented and lovely Kelly Landers, and it looks like a lot of fun. You know me, I'm always up for a good sketch challenge!
My card came together quickly with this lovely SEI DP and Prism cardstock, and that awesome lace ribbon, all purchased from Taylored Expressions.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you'll came back tomorrow for a DOUBLE FEATURE! Have a merry day!
I'm having paper envy, that DP is lovely. What a cute card! And from what I understand, the pilgrims died out a while ago, I don't think they notice your neglect. :)
ReplyDeleteI agree...I've been feeling a tad guilty for shafting Thanksgiving, too, but this card is so beautiful! I'm going right now to check out that stamp site - another new one for me, and that sketch site, too! :)
ReplyDeleteNOPE - no guilt here about Autumn and the pilgrims - LOL. Us Aussies only have one focus atm - Christmas!! I'm with Peggysue - these DPs are gorgeous - one day I'm popping over to have a play in your stamping room - LOL.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card - I must put my colouring tools down sometime and play more with just stamping!
xXx
beautiful classy holiday card Lisa! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Lovin' that beautiful DP! And that little row of lace at the bottom is sweet! Great card! You know, I do feel guilty, and so depressed when I go to the store, and there are pumpkins on one aisle, and Nativity scenes on the other, but what can you do? There are only 30 days between, and I guess it has to be this way...sigh... Love your card, Lisa!!!
